Lee Tae Hwan (Royal Secret Agent) is considering a lead role in the new Korean drama 39. 39 is about 3 friends who are about to turn 40 and follows their romances and everyday lives. Son Ye Jin (Crash Landing On You) is already confirmed to play one of the friends who is a dermatologist.
Lee Tae Hwan would play a chef if he accepts. The drama will have 12 episodes and comes from the writer of Encounter and the PD of Run On.
39 is looking to air in late 2021 or early 2022 on JTBC.
