Baseball Drama “Stove League” Has Offer Out to Nam Goong Min to Star

Stove League Korean Drama - Nam Goong Min

Nam Goong Min (Doctor Prisoner) has an offer out to him to star in the upcoming baseball Korean drama Stove League. Stove League is about a losing major league baseball team that has a new manager come in to help them.

Nam Goong Min would take on the manager role. We certainly don’t get a lot of sports themed dramas, so that’s unique. And if he accepts, we would be getting another drama from him this year after his starring role in the successful series Doctor Prisoner earlier this year.

Stove League is planning to air at the end of 2019 on SBS.

Not a real fan of sports to be honest, but I’m always willing to give pretty much everything a chance 😊 And you are right, it’s not very often that we see a Korean drama centered around sports 😊

  Yep, I’m always intrigued when kdramas take on those lesser used themes, and sports is definitely not a common topic. As far as the “big” sports go, I would say baseball is my favorite, so I would definitely be interested in checking out a drama featuring it 🙂
