Hot Blood Priest Korean Drama - Kim Nam Gil

We have Kim Nam Gil (Live Up to Your Name) set to star in the new SBS drama Hot Blooded Priest. Hot Blooded Priest is about a priest with anger control issues who teams up with a detective and a prosecutor to solve crimes. He will play our easily angered priest.

He is joined by Kim Sung Kyun (Untouchable) as the detective and Honey Lee (Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People) as the prosecutor. Well, this isn’t an exorcism drama, but are priests the new it jobs for male leads? It seems to be one of the go to professions these days.

Hot Blooded Priest is looking to air in early 2019 on SBS.

Yep, priests it is! It’s so funny how even professions run in trends, lol 🙂

A priest with anger control issues huh? Hmm…that could be interesting (also wondering how that works lol 😂😂). But honestly I do like the premise for this. And yes it does seem that priests are the new profession these days 😂😂

Yeah, definitely not the best profession to have if you’ve got anger issues, lol. But that’s everyone’s profession these days, so I guess there are bound to be a few with some problems 😉

I love Deserving of the Name (10/10) and I liked Kim Nam Gil so much in it, so count me in disregards how this one progresses. It will be like so much fun to have this after the upcoming Priest with Yeon Woo Jin.

I still need to see Kim Nam Gil in something. He keeps doing dramas I don’t watch, lol. If I could just get him in a new rom-com, melo, or historical, then I’d be set, hehe 🙂 Hope you enjoy this one!

You just mentioned three of the genres of Deserving of the Name. It’s very romantic comedy, it has historical sides too, ah, it’s not really that melodramatic, but it really touched my heart and I shed a river of tears on many levels. 🙂 So the only drawback I can say about it is that it’s a medical, which is its major genre. So I don’t really think you would enjoy this the way I enjoyed it. However, this is the first time I saw Kim Nam Gil and Kim Ah Joong, and I was very very impressed by their performances. So that made Deserving of the Name be on my top 10 Kdramas I have watched so far. Hehehe.

Yep, the medical is the sole reason I skipped out on that drama 🙁 Like you’re saying, it seemed to have so many other things I like with the time travel, historical, and rom-com stuff all going on. I was really disappointed since it got a lot or praise. I do occasionally watch a medical drama, but I’m super selective when I do. And part of me always regrets it when I do watch one even if I thought the drama was pretty good, lol. But who knows, maybe someday 🙂
