Yeon Woo Jin Offered Lead Role in Korean Drama “Priest”

Priest Korean Drama - Yeon Woo Jin

An offer is out to Yeon Woo Jin (Nothing to Lose) to star in the new OCN drama Priest. Priest will be a medical horror drama with exorcism. An offer had previously went out to Lee Je Hoon (Tomorrow With You) who declined.

I guess exorcism is another thing that many of these thriller dramas are excited to explore as we have several upcoming dramas featuring this theme. This would also be a darker drama for Yeon Woo Jin if he decides to accept which could be very interesting to see.

Priest is looking to air later this year on OCN.

A medical horror drama, well that’s something that you don’t hear everyday. Sounds interesting😀!

  Definitely an interesting combo. I’d love to see Yeon Woo Jin in a dark drama, but since I don’t particularly like medical or horror separately, I probably don’t want to see them together, lol

Is horror going to be the new “it” theme in dramaland now? Oh well, I guess it’ll provide some variety to all those legal/cop shows. 😄
