Hundred Days' Husband Korean Drama - D.O. and Nam Ji Hyun

Alright! We have our first trailers released for the new historical drama Hundred Days’ Husband starring EXO’s D.O. (I Remember You) and Nam Ji Hyun (Suspicious Partner). They give us action, romance, and intrigue which has me even more excited than I was already!

Although we have Mr. Sunshine currently airing, that is still only the second historical drama of the year. So I’m glad we have a new one on the way. And the cast is wonderful with D.O. finally stepping into a lead role alongside the amazing Nam Ji Hyun. I can’t wait to see this pairing for what sounds like an all around fun and interesting story.

Hundred Days’ Husband is about a Joseon prince (D.O.) who loses his memory, goes missing, and ends up living as a commoner for 100 days. He meets a woman (Nam Ji Hyun) who runs a detective agency and they work to discover his identity.

Hundred Days’ Husband is scheduled to premiere September 10 on tvN.

Nice! This really looks very good indeed 😊😊 These trailers do really make this series come alive, and it’s certainly got me intrigued as well. Maybe this will finally be the year that I get to watch more historical dramas 😀😀

Nice it is! I’ve been so excited to see this drama because of the story, cast, and it’s a historical. And these trailers definitely got me more excited. I hope you get to check out a few historicals this year too! It’s such a great genre when you find the good dramas 🙂

Wow those trailers have got me very excited indeed 🤗. It sort of reminds me of Love in the Moonlight but a bit more intense. I didn’t think much about it when I first heard of this and have only seen DO in Its Okay its Love. He was very good there but the premise of this drama at first and the pairing didn’t really appeal to me. Now it’s definitely piqued my interest and good thing you’ve summed up the plot better, from the other sites, the way the plot’s been described didn’t really give off a great impression to me.

This teaser made me realise the lack of historicals lately and how I miss them. Hopefully there’s more to come.

Well then we are both excited! 🙂 I too thought the way it is shot reminded of Moonlight. I also saw some plot descriptions that were a bit clunky, so I’m glad you thought mine was useful.

I’ve seen D.O. in a few supporting roles, and he is always very good. So I can’t wait to see how he does in a lead role. And I really love Nam Ji Hyun, plus she is accustomed to historicals, so I’m hopeful for the pairing. But yes, the lack of historicals has been so disappointing this year. I just can’t believe that as of now we still only have 3. Then there is one planned for next year. I really hope they plan to do more since I miss them.

Didn’t she already play this role, but in modern days with King Louie.

Yep, she seems to attract amnesiacs, lol 😉
