Your Honor Korean Drama - Yoon Shi Yoon

An impactful first trailer is out for the the upcoming SBS drama Your Honor (also known as Dear Judge) starring Yoon Shi Yoon (Grand Prince) and Lee Yoo Young (Tunnel). Yoon Shi Yoon stands upon a mountain of books surrounded by fire. He holds the scales of justice in one hand and a sword in the other. As he sees the scene that flashes by, a tear slips down his cheek. The trailer certainly had a heavy feel to it. I’ll be interested to see what direction subsequent trailers take.

Dear Judge is about twin brothers (Yoon Shi Yoon) who have led very different lives. One is a respected judge while the other is a repeat criminal. When the judge mysteriously disappears, the criminal has to step in to take his brother’s place.

Your Honor is scheduled to premiere July 25 on SBS.

The story for this really does sound intriguing, and it could turn into something pretty dark. The trailer doesn’t really give much yet, despite it setting a pretty grim tone. Still…I think this could turn out into something nice. Might give this one a go 😊

I like stories where someone has to impersonate someone else, which seems to be a bit of a trend right now. Of course, not too thrilled about the legal setting. But I’ll give it a chance because of the premise, and I’m big fan of Yoon Shi Yoon. I went into a similar drama recently called Switch in almost the exact same way and am hoping I fair a bit better with this one. I think I usually tend to either need a heavy thriller element (Lawless Lawyer!) or a strong romance in my legal dramas though. We shall see 🙂

Well I honestly do like the legal elements at times (better than medical dramas), but I agree a thriller element is so much better. Which is also why I loved Tunnel so much (don’t laugh, but I’m actually watching that one again with my mother, and she loves it 😊). The review for Tunnel will be published in the weekend by the way (I have a little bit less time this week), but it is pretty much finished. Oh…and really don’t get me started on Lawless Lawyer 😂😂
As for this one…I do think it could become pretty good..hopefully the first trailer for this will give us a good insight in which way this will go 😊

Hahahahahahahaha! Just kidding 🙂 I re-watch dramas with my mom sometimes too because that’s the only way she will watch them. Gotta spread the drama love however possible. Will definitely be looking forward to your Tunnel review 🙂
