Ha Ji Won (Hospital Ship) has accepted the starring role in the new spy thriller Prometheus. Ha Ji Won will play a NIS agent who goes undercover to work on the denuclearization of North Korea. Joo Ji Hoon (Mask) was previously offered a starring role, but he ultimately declined. This big budget drama is in full swing with more cast to be announced soon.

Prometheus is an action spy drama about three North Korean scientists with knowledge of their nuclear and missile program who go missing and agents from multiple countries set out to find them. That includes top NIS agents from South Korea. It comes from the PD of other action dramas such as IRIS and Chuno.

Prometheus is looking to air later in 2018.

Even though I am not a huge fan of spymovies, (and yes I know this is a series lol 😂), this does sound quite interesting. Looking forward to seeing a full trailer for this one ,😀

I’m the same way concerning spy stories. But when done well and especially as a drama, I’m very open to it. I really hope they get a solid cast to join Ha Ji Won since this is another drama looking to be more of a big budget production. I’ll be looking forward to that first trailer too 🙂
