Hospital Ship Korean Drama - Ha Ji Won

A second trailer has been released for the new MBC drama Hospital Ship starring Kang Min Hyuk (Entertainer) and Ha Ji Won (The Time I’ve Loved You). We see Ha Ji Won at work as she displays her surgery skills. But an incident soon lands her on the hospital ship which lacks the the surgical tools she’s used to. She does what she can though as her and Kang Min Hyuk work to save a patient.

I’m still intrigued with this one, and I’m really liking the cast and the brief interactions we’ve seen of them together. Hopefully, we get some heartwarming stories as well as some well done character journeys of growth.

Hospital Ship is about doctors on a medical ship that travels to rural villages on islands. Kang Min Hyuk plays a warmhearted doctor on our medical ship with Ha Ji Won as a surgeon who joins the ship after experiencing difficult family circumstances. The drama comes from the writer of Secret Door and the PD of New Leaf.

Hospital Ship is scheduled to premiere August 30 on MBC.

This series certainly has enough potential to become a real fun show. There are enough storylines that can make this interesting so I am pretty intrigued by this myself. Ofcourse as usual it is currently not available here, so there is that 😂

Agree! So much potential for some heartwarming stories as well as character growth. This one’s going to be on DramaFever here when it premieres on Aug. 30. Maybe they’ll get it for you too.

So looking forward to this drama! It’s a nice change from the typical hospital/medical drama usually shown in drama land. Great cast too!

Me too! That change from the typical medical dramas is exactly why it appeals to me 🙂
