Time Slot Finally Decided for Korean Drama ‘The Package’

We finally have a time slot for the new JTBC drama The Package starring Jung Yong Hwa (Three Musketeers) and Lee Yeon Hee (Hwajung)! I really was starting to wonder if it was ever going to get aired.

It was originally looking to air in early 2017, and this completely pre-produced drama has been completed for many months. But it kept getting pushed back as other dramas took priority. But it is has now been placed on the schedule for an October premiere. I’m really looking forward to this drama, so a big yay to that!

The Package is about a group of very different people on a guided tour in France. It’s a heartwarming drama of people connecting as they deal with unexpected events. Lee Yeon Hee is the group’s tour guide with Jung Yong Hwa as a man who was recently dumped by his girlfriend.

Others in the cast include Choi Woo Shik (Ho Goo’s Love), Yoon Park (Age of Youth), Ryu Seung Soo (Beautiful Mind), Lee Ji Hyun (Victory Tomorrow Too), Jung Gyu Soo (Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul Ho), Ha Shi Eun (Oh Hae Young Again), and Park Yoo Na (Sassy Go Go).

The Package is scheduled to premiere in October on JTBC.

Well, this certainly sounds like one of those feel good dramas…and another drama that has a pretty unique setting, which is very cool indeed 😊

  Yes it does 🙂 I’ve been looking forward to this one for soooo long since it was originally suppose to air in January. I’m just glad that they finally put it on the schedule because it does have such a unique setting and sounds very nice 🙂

Jyh! I know his acting isn’t spectacular but I have high hopes for him. Although I didn’t watch three musketeers so maybe he has already improved.

  Yeah, he’s a little stiff, but I usually enjoy him. I didn’t really like Three Musketeers, but I liked JYH’s character and do think he improved some. But The Package sounds like it should be a good fit for him since it’s supposed to be more heartwarming 🙂
