Man Who Dies to Live Korean Drama - Choi Min Soo

Well, that was different! The first teaser trailer is out for the upcoming MBC drama Man Who Dies to Live starring Choi Min Soo (The Liar and His Lover), Shin Sung Rok (On the Way to the Airport), and Kang Ye Won (Baek Hee Has Returned).

The trailer features Choi Min Soo in what appears to be a desert landscape in Arabia decked out in his nobleman attire which actually fits him perfectly. He is thrilled when a little girl, I’m guessing his daughter, runs into his arms smiling. He flashes a big grin and lifts her into the air. But then she suddenly disappears right from his hands and he is left confused and distressed. Hmm, definitely an interesting first trailer!

Man Who Dies to Live is about a man who returns home after becoming a nobleman in Arabia and tries to repair his relationship with his daughter and son-in-law. Choi Min Soo will play the father who finds success in Arabia. Kang Ye Won will play his daughter with Shin Sung Rok as his son-in-law.

Man Who Dies to Live is scheduled to premiere July 19 on MBC.

This really was an interesting trailer. Like the ones that immediately manage to catch your attention by being quite unique. Also think the Arabian setting is also pretty original. I for one don’t know about a Korean drama taking place in that country. Looking forward to this 😊

It definitely caught my attention! The whole going to Arabia and becoming a nobleman seems so random, lol. Of course, that will probably just be a small part at the beginning of the drama since it’s mostly about his coming back to Korea to reconnect with daughter. Definitely a unique concept though 🙂
