Popular Korean Drama Couple Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo Are Getting Married!

Wait…what???? It looks like Song Joong Gi and Song Hye Kyo will be getting married! Both actors starred together in the mega hit kdrama Descendants of the Sun in 2016 which drew global popularity.

The pair has been fending off dating rumors for months, and it seemed pretty clear that they were not a couple. But suddenly on July 5, their entertainment agency released a statement not only confirming their relationship, but announcing their upcoming wedding in October 2017!

So count me as completely surprised! I think most fans are used to having popular drama couples end up in the middle of dating rumors, but they usually turn out to be nothing. So to not only have the biggest drama couple of 2016 suddenly announce they are getting married is pretty crazy.

A big congratulations to the couple! I hope they have a wonderful wedding and and a long, happy life together!

Wow. I wasn’t even aware there were rumors floating about. I guess it’s gonna be even more amazing for anybody just about to start the drama. 😀

  Yeah, there’s been some rumors, especially a lot recently after they were spotted in Bali. Their agencies kept denying it though, so it was definitely a reversal to suddenly have this news, lol. But yes, now is a great time for anyone who hasn’t seen Descendants of the Sun to watch it 🙂

    I had seen the rumors too. He was always so kind and polite to her during press conferences, it made me wonder.

      Yep, I think we frequently wonder about these things, but so many times they turn out untrue. But this is definitely a nice surprise 🙂

I heard about the rumors ofcourse, but I usually try and stay away from rumors such as those lol. Cool to see that this time they were true. Good for them 😀

  I’m like that too. I usually just catch a lot of rumor headlines but don’t pay too much attention. Although they had been getting a lot of attention over the last week, so I definitely noticed. But I’m glad that this one is true too 🙂
