Moon Chae Won Offered Lead Role in Korean Drama Remake of ‘Criminal Minds’ With Lee Joon Gi

Criminal Minds Korean Drama - Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won

Moon Chae Won (Goodbye Mr. Black) has now been offered a role in the Korean remake of the American TV show Criminal Minds. Criminal Minds is a crime drama about a team of FBI profilers. Lee Joon Gi (Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Goryeo) is still considering an offer to headline opposite of her.

I definitely like this potential casting a lot better than when it was Kim Ah Joong (Wanted) in the running. Moon Chae Won seems like a much better fit both as an actress and as a potential pairing with Lee Joon Gi.

I’m still hoping they add in a nice overarching story since I don’t usually care for episodic shows. But if Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won sign on, I’ll definitely be tuning in.

Criminal Minds is looking to air later in 2017.
