Yoona Offered Lead Role in Korean Drama K2 with Ji Chang Wook

K2 Korean Drama - Yoona

Yoona (Prime Minister and I) has been offered the lead role in the new tvN drama K2. K2 tells the story of a bodyguard who is dedicated to his country but is tossed aside by it and is now out for revenge and a woman who is the secret daughter of a presidential candidate. It looks likely that Yoona will accept the role as she is in final negotiations to play the secret daughter who has a severe social phobia after being traumatized by so much attention.

K2 Korean Drama - Ji Chang Wook

Ji Chang Wook (Healer) has also been confirmed as the male lead who will play the bodyguard. The drama comes from the writer of Yong Pal and Reset and the PD from Chuno. Jo Sung Ha (Neighborhood Hero) will play they presidential candidate with Song Yoon Ah (Assembly) as his wife.

I’m glad to see everything falling into place, and I’m especially excited to see Ji Chang Wook back in a drama. The story definitely sounds interesting to me too.

K2 is scheduled to premiere in September on tvN.

what’s a bad choice!!!why zero actress such yoon-ah plays with him? He definitely deserved to play with better actress!! i’am disappointed!!

Aww, sorry you’re disappointed with Yoona. She doesn’t have the same talent as Ji Chang Wook, but I think she’s decent and has a really nice presence on screen. They’ll definitely look great together.
