We are deep into summer now and could use some new dramas to keep us company on those hot days! Let’s see what we have to look forward to in this August 2026 edition of “Korean Dramas You Need to Be Watching.”

1. Four Hands, Two Sonatas 

Four Hands, Two Sonatas Korean Drama- Song Kang and Lee Jun Young

Four Hands, Two Sonatas is a coming of age story about two young people (Song Kang, Lee Jun Young) who meet at an arts school and follows their journey of growth, friendship, love, and playing the piano.

Four Hands, Two Sonatas is scheduled to premiere in August on tvN.

2. My Bias, My Boss

My Bias, My Boss Korean Drama - Kang Hoon, Kim Hye Joon, Cha Woo Min

My Bias, My Boss is a romantic comedy about a woman (Kim Hye Joon) gets a job at a company  to get closer to her bias (Cha Woo Min) but finds herself developing feelings for her boss (Kang Hoon) who started the company.

My Bias, My Boss is scheduled to premiere August 3 on tvN.

3. Flex X Cop 2

Flex X Cop 2 Korean Drama - Ahn Bo Hyun

Flex X Cop 2 continues the story of an immature chaebol heir (Ahn Bo Hyun) after he completes his police training and returns to the violent crimes unit as a detective where he has a new partner (Jung Eun Chae).

Flex X Cop 2 is scheduled to premiere in August on SBS.

4. Our Sticky Love

Our Sticky Love Korean Drama - Jung Hae In and Ha Young

Our Sticky Love is a romantic comedy about a prosecutor (Ha Young) investigating a crime syndicate who loses her memory in an accident and wakes up in a rural village with a boxing coach (Jung Hae In) claiming to be her boyfriend. It turns out, she was his first love, and he is trying to protect her with the lie.

Our Sticky Love is scheduled to premiere August 7 on Netflix.

5. Mousetrap

Mousetrap Korean Drama - Ryu Jun Yeol

Mousetrap is a thriller about a reclusive writer (Ryu Jun Yeol) whose life is turned upside down when his identity is stolen by a man known as the Rat and his friend who managed things for him disappears.

Mousetrap is scheduled to premiere August 28 on Netflix.

6. The Apartment Job

The Apartment Job Korean Drama - Ji Sung

The Apartment Job is about a former gangster (Ji Sung) who runs for president of an apartment’s resident association in an effort to find hidden money, but he ends up becoming a sort of local hero after discovering corruption.

The Apartment Job airs Saturday and Sunday on JTBC.

7. A Bona Fide Killer

A Bona Fide Killer Korean Drama - Gong Hyo Jin

A Bona fide Killer is about a legendary assassin (Gong Hyo Jin) who comes back to her organization after a long maternity leave and her news reporter husband (Jung Jun Won) who is trying to find the truth about the assassin’s return.

A Bona fide Killer airs Friday and Saturday on MBC.

8. Spooky in Love

Spooky in Love Korean Drama - Park Eun Bin

Spooky in Love is about a hotel heiress (Park Eun Bin) who can see ghosts that teams up with an ace prosecutor (Yang Se Jong) to solve murder cases and help ghosts who died unjustly.

Spooky in Love airs Saturday and Sunday on tvN.

9. Dream to You

Dream to You Korean Drama - Hwang In Yeop and Hyeri

Dream to You is a romantic comedy following the story of a talented film director (Hwang in Yeop) and a passionate reporter (Hyeri) who are both at crossroads in their lives.

Dream to You airs Monday and Tuesday on ENA.

10. The Affair Was Just the Beginning

The Affair Was Just the Beginning Korean Drama - Kim Ji Hoon and Kim Hye Soo

The Affair Was Just the Beginning is a black comedy that follows the story of an influencer couple (Kim Hye Soo, Kim Ji Hoon) with the image of a happy family who gets mixed up in a series of events with a doctor couple (Cho Yeo Jung, Kim Jae Chul) in the midst of a divorce battle.

The Affair Was Just the Beginning airs Friday and Saturday on Coupang TV.
