Rain (Come Back Ahjussi) has been confirmed to star in the new Chinese drama Endless August with f(x) member Victoria. Endless August is a love story based on a Chinese short story by Anni Baobei. Filming is set to begin sometime in June.
Rain is certainly keeping busy these days by lining up a new drama not that long after wrapping up Come Back Ahjussi. I’m glad to see he has a new project and seems to be very popular with the Chinese audience.
A release date has not yet been set for Endless August.

Is this another trend at the moment (for Kidols to be in Chinese dramas)? At least this time, I can see Victoria being more of a match than Krystal was.

The actors and idols are definitely heading over there in large numbers! It’s such a good market and gives them a lot of opportunities. Hopefully, Rain and Victoria will be a good match 🙂
