Descendants of the Sun Korean Drama - Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo 4

Well, the big week is finally here!  The new KBS drama Descendants of the Sun starring Song Joong Ki (Nice Guy) and Song Hye Kyo (That Winter the Wind Blows) is set to premiere this Wednesday, February 24.  They have put out a couple more trailers too.

The first trailer shows us more of Song Hye Kyo on the job and some of the problems she has to do deal with.  Of course, Song Joong Ki looks like he’s going to give her a few more headaches with his cocky and forward personality.  It’s going to take awhile before our lovebirds can find happiness together.

The second trailer combines scenes from some of the previous trailers while adding in a bit of new content.  It highlights the danger our characters are constantly surrounded by as they deal with their growing relationships.

Well, it’s been a long, long wait for this drama to makes it’s way to our screens.  But the day is finally here!  I hope everyone enjoys it!

Descendants of the Sun is a highly anticipated drama from the writer of Heirs and Secret Garden.  It tells the story of a UN captain (Song Joong Ki) and a doctor (Song Hye Kyo) who fall in love while providing aid in a country dealing with a natural disaster and civil strife.

Descendants of the Sun is scheduled to premiere February 24 on KBS.
