The new KBS drama Lightly, Ardently (also known as Uncontrollably Fond) starring Kim Woo Bin (Heirs) and Suzy (Gu Family Book) has released its first teaser trailer. It has a very lovely yet melodramatic feel. We see scenes of the terrible accident that happened when our lovers were younger. We also see a present day Kim Woo Bin giving a TV interview. The trailer ends with a greeting from a real life Kim Woo Bin and Suzy.
I’m thrilled to see that these two actually look pretty cute together. Based on the writer’s previous works, I’m hoping for a sweeping melodrama with a nice dash of heart to accompany us on the journey.
Lightly, Ardently is a romance melodrama about Shin Joon Young (Kim Woo Bin), a top star, and No Eul (Suzy), a documentary producer. The two are horribly separated when they are younger and meet again after many years. It comes from the screenwriter of Nice Guy, Thank You, and A Love to Kill.
Lightly, Ardently is scheduled to air in the summer of 2016 on KBS.
