We’re moving onto February, and it’s bringing us quite a few new dramas to choose from. Let’s see what we have to look forward to in this February 2025 edition of “Korean Dramas You Need to Be Watching.”
This monthly series is meant to keep you updated on what’s happening in that amazing world of Korean dramas so that you don’t miss out on anything! Here are the kdramas you should keep an eye out for in February 2025:

1. Melo Movie
Melo Movie is a romantic comedy focusing on a film critic (Choi Woo Shik) and a film director (Park Bo Young) trying to live out their hopes and dreams, but they are used to pretending to be fine in the face of many hardships.
Melo Movie is scheduled to premiere February 14 on Netflix.
PREMIERING IN FEBRUARY:
2. Buried Hearts
Buried Hearts is about a Public Affairs Team leader at Daesan Group (Park Hyung Sik) who hides his ambition to rise to the top and a rich and powerful professor (Heo Joon Ho) who controls society from behind the scenes.
Buried Hearts is scheduled to premiere in February 21 on SBS.
3. The Scandal of Chunhwa
The Scandal of Chunhwa is a historical romance about a princess (Go Ara) who doesn’t want to marry the man her father has chosen, so she decides to find a husband herself and gets involved with a well-known playboy (Chang Ryul).
The Scandal of Chunhwa is scheduled to premiere February 6 on TVING.
4. Undercover High School
Undercover High School is a comedy about a NIS agent (Seo Kang Joon) who goes undercover as a high school student and ends up bonding with the other students.
Undercover High School is scheduled to premiere February 21 on MBC.
5. My Dearest Nemesis
My Dearest Nemesis is based on a webtoon about two students who connected playing an online game in the early 2000’s and eventually go on to meet later in real life as a boss (Choi Hyun Wook) and employee (Moon Ga Young).
My Dearest Nemesis is scheduled to premiere February 17 on tvN.
6. The Witch
The Witch is a mystery romance about a man (Jinyoung) trying to help a woman (Mi Jung) who had to leave her town because all of the men who fell in love with her died and she became known as a witch.
The Witch is scheduled to premiere February 15 on Channel A.
7. Kick Kick Kick Kick
Kick Kick Kick Kick is a comedy about a washed up actor (Ji Jin Hee) and former star PD (Lee Kyu Hyung) who run a production company together.
Kick Kick Kick Kick is scheduled to premiere February 5 on KBS.
8. Friendly Rivalry
Friendly Rivalry is a mystery thriller about the fierce competition and relationship between a high school student (Hyeri) who seems perfect and a naive transfer student (Jung Soo Bin) as they try to become number one in the school.
Friendly Rivalry is scheduled to premiere February 10 on U+ Mobile TV.

8. When the Stars Gossip
When the Stars Gossip is a space-themed romantic comedy set on a space station about an astronaut (Gong Hyo Jin) and an OBGYN space tourist (Lee Min Ho) with a secret.
When the Stars Gossip airs Saturday and Sunday on tvN.
10. The Queen Who Crowns
The Queen Who Crowns is about a woman (Cha Joo Young) who who works to help her husband, Lee Bang Won (Lee Hyun Wook), become the king and create a new regime. But he then takes on a lot of concubines which puts the couple at odds, and he tries to keep the queen in check.
The Queen Who Crowns airs Monday on TVING.

Motel California
Motel California is a romance about an interior designer (Lee Se Young) who grew up living at a rural motel but eventually left to go Seoul. 12 years later, she returns and is reunited with her first love who is now a popular veterinarian (Na In Woo) fending off marriage proposals.
Motel California airs Friday and Saturday on MBC.
Check In Hanyang
Check in Hanyang is a historical romance that follows the story of a woman (Kim Ji Eun) and three men (Bae In Hyuk, Jung Gun Joo, Park Jae Chan) who work at the biggest inn in Joseon.
Check in Hanyang airs Saturday and Sunday on Channel A.
Study Group
Study Group is set at one of the worst high schools where a student (Hwang Min Hyun) studies hard but struggles to do well and is only good at fighting. He joins a study group for college entrance exams and ends up defending a friend who is getting bullied using his skills.
Study Group airs Thursday on TVING.
Unmasked
Unmasked is a mystery comedy following the story of the team leader (Kim Hye Soo) of Korea’s first Investigative Journalism Bureau of a broadcasting company as she works to save a program.
Unmasked airs Wednesday on Disney+.
Sorry Not Sorry
Sorry Not Sorry is about a woman (Jun So Min) in debt trying to pay off her new home after her engagement is suddenly broken off, and she finds herself in a new town working part-time jobs.
Sorry Not Sorry airs Thursday on KBS.
Namib (The Starry Night)
Namib is about the CEO of an entertainment agency (Go Hyun Jung) who approaches a trainee (Ryeoun) with bad motives but then ends up helping him achieve his dreams.
Namib airs Monday and Tuesday on ENA.
