I will definitely check out Queen of Tears. Midnight Photoshop also looks interesting.
    Currently watching Captivating The King.

Queen of Tears and Captivating the King are on my list too 🙂 I hope you enjoy them!

I’ve added Midnight Photo Studio to my list.

I’m currently watching Wedding Impossible which is good so far and I’m also currently watching Doctor Slump with is enjoyable. It’s cute and tackles mental health which is interesting.

I started Impossible Heir and it’s really good so far but I’m getting it on Hulu with ads and it’s just unbearable to watch that way so I may need to wait to see if it shows up anywhere else some day on a streaming platform with no ads.

The rest of the list doesn’t include genre that interest me despite some wonderful casting.

I’ll probably be checking out Doctor Slump since the doctoring seems light. Undecided on Wedding Impossible, so I’ll be keep an eye on it.

I understand the frustration with the ads for Impossible Heir. I can handle the ads, but the subtitles on Hulu on my Fire get more and more delayed as the show goes on, and apparently it’s a long term issue with no fix. I toughed our Family: The Unbreakable Bond with it, but it was brutal. I don’t want to do it again if I don’t have to, lol 😅

Oh I didn’t think about the delayed subtitles issue. I’ve been so frustrated with the idea of paying for a streaming service then paying more for no ads. I have a few services I’m thinking about dropping for that reason alone, it’s the principle of the thing!

        1. Kay Avatar

Yep, it’s ridiculous for sure. It seems like most of the services are going to that model now which is really disappointing 🙁

Just finished watching the Chinese rom/com drama “Hello, I’m at your service”. Excellent show. It is everything I expect in a good Cdrama, A good balance of romance, light humor with some drama. Rating: 8.5/10

    1. Kay Avatar

Sounds like another cute one. A good rom-com is always a treat 🙂

I just finished another Chinese rom/com. “Perfect and Casual” First let me say that if you are looking for a Cdrama rom/com to try for the first time then this is the one for you. I was a little worried when I saw it was a contract marriage story but they told the story in such a great way it stands above most other of this genre. The humor is very good and had me laughing out loud several times. The romance is great. Rating 9/10

    1. Kay Avatar

Oooh, even higher praise than the previous one! It’s really rare for me to laugh out loud in a drama, so I’d be curious if this one could do the trick 🙂

I’m currently watching Flex x Cop and its very good and highly entertaining. I’m waiting for the Impossible Heir to finish so that I can watch it all at once. Patience is not my strong suit and I know that this kdrama will have cliffhanger endings that will annoy me lmao.

    1. Kay Avatar

Haha, I can relate to that. I watch all of my dramas after they’ve finished airing because I can’t stand to wait with all of the cliffhanger endings in kdramas, lol 🤣

I was looking for something to watch so I was going thru the reviews and found the Japanese show “My Little Lover” Kay rated it high and I had wanted to try a Japanese show so I tried this one. Overall, it was a good show but not great (except the last episode which was great). It’s a fantasy show about a girl shrunk to a small size (about 5 inches or 13 centimeters). I was impressed with the special effects. Maika Yamamoto, the female lead, was excellent but the male lead. Taishi Nakagawa, was much too subdued and non-romantic for most of the show. I believe that the script was written to have his character seen as holding in is sadness and his growing feeling for the tiny woman. It would be hard to show his affection on screen for a 5 inch woman. Chapters 1 through 9 got a rating of 7. Chapter 10 gets a 10/10, as it had a proposal and wedding.  And the main couple married once they graduated from high school. That’s the first post high school I’ve seen in an Asian drama.

    1. Kay Avatar

It’s great you ended up checking out My Little Lover 🙂 It was such a cute, feel good type of drama. Very simple but fun. I definitely think there would be challenges with showing affection with the Chiyomi being so tiny. Even though you didn’t love it, I would say 7 makes for a decent watch 🙂

    Do watch Doctor Slump

I just finished watching Dr Slump. Very good show. Even the ending was good. The supporting character romance was also very good. There were some surgery scenes. I don’t like scalpels, squirting blood, bloody lumps of bandages, etc. but I got through it without fainting. Rating 8/10

    1. Kay Avatar

Yay that you enjoyed it all the way through! It’s looks really good 🙂 I don’t know if I’ll be up for multiple surgery scenes though 😬

I just started watching Mask Girl. I thought it was a basic Kdrama based on the description. But was I wrong. It is an R rated show, a very dark show unlike Kdramas. Netflix describes it as a limited series. I’m not sure if I’m going to complete the series. Maybe after recovering from the shock.

    1. Kay Avatar

Haha, yeah, some of those Netflix originals are really dark. I tend to prefer lighter fare, so I pass on most of those, lol 😅
