Alchemy of Souls starring Lee Jae Wook and Jung So Min recently wrapped up its first part which consisted of 20 episodes after a successful run. It is now confirmed that part 2, which will have 10 episodes, is set to premiere in December. The drama will air on tvN.
Alchemy of Souls is set in a fictional country where a troublemaking young man (Lee Jae Wook) from a noble family with a complicated secret surrounding his birth becomes the student of his servant (Jung So Min) who is actually a skilled assassin whose soul has been trapped in a weak body.

Not confirmed, but the estimated date is Dec. 10 based on the drama schedule ahead of it 🙂

This is an excellent show. Looking forward to the second part.
This show had an unexpected interruption to its episodes. I wonder if the production company saw the popularity of this show and filmed a new ending episode that would allow the story to continue into the second part?

I just started it, and so far I’m really enjoying it. I heard about the postponement of the final episodes. I believe the production team said it was needed to make the episodes better. The second part had been known about for a while prior, but who knows, they may have needed more time to make a good transition between the seasons.
