A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Korean drama Once Upon a Small Town starring Red Velvet’s Joy (The One and Only), Chu Young Woo (School 2021), and Baek Sung Chul (Inspector Koo). It is bright and cheery as we meet and three main characters and see their lives in the countryside.
Once Upon a Small Town follows the romance between a veterinarian (Chu Young Woo) from Seoul and a police officer (Joy) in the countryside.
Once Upon a Small Town is scheduled to premiere September 5 on Kakao TV.

Just finished watching the 4th episode. So far it’s a enjoyable show with a simple story. City veterinarian moves to the country where he meets a woman who is one of the local police officers. This angers a local guy that likes her. Typical two guys, one woman as seen in many shows. So far it has had good animal/veterinarian interactions.
After watching Devilish Joy which had a complicated plot and lots of drama I am ready for a basic romantic comedy. And this one seems to be just what I needed. This shows seems to be a good one.

Just finished watching this show. It is a very good basic romance comedy. Simple and short and very good. I’ll write more if Kay does a review.

Once Upon a Small Town was very cute. Short 12-episodes so easy to binge if you want something light and don’t want to watch all of the darker, more serious fare available.
