Lots of new kdramas coming our way in June! There’s a little something for everyone with a great variety of genres. Let’s see what we have to look forward to in this June 2021 edition of “Korean Dramas You Need to Be Watching.”
This monthly series is meant to keep you updated on what’s happening in that amazing world of Korean dramas so that you don’t miss out on anything! Here are the kdramas you should keep an eye out for in June 2021:

1. Monthly House
We’ve got Kim Ji Suk and Jung So Min in what looks like fun rom-com with Monthly House. I’ll be looking forward to having this duo together and seeing what trouble they get into!
Monthly House is about the CEO of a real estate company and home magazine (Kim Ji Suk) who begins a romance with a magazine editor (Jung So Min) who is seeking to buy her own home.
Monthly House is scheduled to premiere June 16 on JTBC.

2. The Penthouse 3
The Penthouse 3 is about a woman’s (Eugene) ambitious goal to rise into high society through the real estate business, and she will do anything to succeed, even if she becomes a monster along the way.
The Penthouse 3 is scheduled to premiere June 4 on SBS.
3. Hospital Playlist 2
Hospital Playlist 2 follows the lives and struggles of doctors, nurses, and patients in a hospital. Starring Jung Kyung Ho, Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jeon Mi Do, & Kim Dae Myung.
Hospital Playlist 2 is scheduled to premiere June 17 on tvN.
4. Nevertheless
Nevertheless is a romance about a man (Song Kang) who doesn’t want to be in a relationship but likes to flirt and a woman (Han So Hee) that doesn’t believe in love yet still wants to be in a relationship.
Nevertheless is scheduled to premiere June 19 on JTBC.
5. At a Distance, Spring is Green
At a Distance, Spring is Green tells the story of twenty somethings transitioning to adulthood including a sweet freshman business student (Park Ji Hoon) at a university, a hardworking student (Kang Min Ah), and an intelligent and cold student (Bae In Hyuk).
At a Distance, Spring is Green is scheduled to premiere June 14 on KBS.
6. Voice 4
Voice 4 will follow the story of workers at a 112 emergency call center where a “Golden Time” team works to rescue crime victims in the golden window of time before they are likely to be killed.
Voice 4 is scheduled to premiere June 18 on tvN.
7. On the Verge of Insanity (No One But a Madman)
On the Verge of Insanity is about a veteran electronics (Jung Jae Young) engineer who is forced to transfer to the personnel department to avoid losing his job. He does his best to survive there alongside the workaholic leader (Moon So Ri) of the department.
On the Verge of Insanity is scheduled to premiere June 23 on MBC.

8. My Roommate is a Gumiho
My Roommate is a Gumiho is based on a webtoon about a college student (Hyeri) who swallows a gumiho’s (Jang Ki Yong) marble just as the gumiho was very close to becoming human. To make matters worse, if a human swallows a gumiho’s marble, they will die in one year.
My Roommate is a Gumiho airs Wednesday and Thursday on tvN.
9. Bossam – Steal the Fate
Bossam – Steal the Fate is about a man (Jung Il Woo) who helps widows in difficult situations meet new husbands that accidentally kidnaps a princess (Yuri).
Bossam – Steal the Fate airs Saturday and Sunday on MBN.
10. Imitation
Imitation follows several idol groups including the struggling girl group Tea Party and the boy group Shax as a member from each group gets involved with each other after a series of incidents.
Imitation airs Friday on KBS.

Youth of May is about a troublemaker medical student (Lee Do Hyun) and a hardworking nurse (Go Min Si) who get caught up in the Gwangju Uprising of 1980.

Mine
Mine is about wealthy and ambitious women (Lee Bo Young and Kim Seo Hyung) who seem to have everything but experience unhappiness and adversity as they work to overcome it.
Mine airs Saturday and Sunday on tvN.
Sell Your Haunted House
Sell Your Haunted House is about a hot-tempered exorcist (Jang Na Ra) who gets rid of ghosts for her real estate business that teams up with a con-artist (Jung Yong Hwa) who doesn’t believe in ghosts.
Sell Your Haunted House airs Wednesday and Thursday on KBS.
Law School
Law School is about a former prosecutor (Kim Myung Min) who is now a professor at a prestigious law school and a group of students (Kim Bum and Ryu Hye Young) that get involved in an unprecedented case.
Law School airs Wednesday and Thursday on JTBC.
Undercover
Undercover is a NIS agent (Ji Jin Hee ) who keeps his identity hidden that marries a woman (Kim Hyun Joo) who becomes the head of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit.
Undercover airs Friday and Saturday on JTBC.
Dark Hole
Dark Hole is a sci-fi mystery thriller about a former police officer (Lee Joon Hyuk) and a detective (Kim Ok Bin) who battle against humans that have turned into monsters from breathing in the dark smoke from a sink hole.
Dark Hole airs Saturday and Sunday on OCN.
