I got in two dramas in March, both of which were fun. The comedy historical Mr. Queen and the zombie comedy crime drama Zombie Detective gave me lots of laughs for the month:
Mr. Queen
Mr. Queen is a solid drama that is a lot of fun with plenty of laughs. It excelled with the humor with Shin Hye Sun shining in her role as the Queen. The romance wasn’t particularly swoony, but the relationship was a unique one for sure.
There is also a nice helping of palace intrigue to balance things out and propel the plot along. As is common with many historicals, it gets more serious as it progresses, but it does keep the humor too. The last third did lose some steam, and I didn’t love the ending, but overall, it was still an entertaining drama with a fresh spin on the typical relationship dynamics we usually see at play combined with a good story to flesh things out. (Mr. Queen Review)
Zombie Detective
Zombie Detective is a fun comedy crime drama with a more light-hearted zombie element. There are more serious elements for sure, but the comedy wins out in this one. The pacing was a bit uneven at times, but it had a solid overarching story that was interesting. Choi Jin Hyuk was the highlight and was very funny and also very endearing.
All in all, Zombie Detective was a good ride. It gives us a nice personal journey of a man coping and adapting to being a zombie along with some for fun crime-solving along the way. Lots of humor keeps some of the darker elements from feeling too serious. It was a solid series. (Zombie Detective Review)

I also completed 2 dramas in March:
L.U.C.A. : The Beginning – this drama had a good idea, but it could have been executed better. I thought that there were too many beatings and not enough character development. The ending left me wondering about a possible Season 2. I did compose a piano piece inspired by the drama, so I don’t regret watching it. Lee Da Hee is a wonderful singer!
Haechi – the feel-good political sageuk I did not know I needed! Jung Il Woo is outstanding as Prince Yeoning (future King Yeongjo), and so is Lee Geung Young as Minister Min.

That piece has such an intense feel to it. And it’s name is also very fitting. Wonderful! It’s too bad that drama didn’t quite work for you though. Like you said, at least you got a great piano piece out of it 🙂
Good to hear that Haechi did work for you. Jung Il Woo is great in historicals 🙂

I just realised I actually did not finish any drama in March. I was watching dramas the whole month but did not complete any of them. LOL
Here are the ones I did not complete:
* Kairos
* Into the ring
* Sweet Home
* My Only One
* Chicago Typewriter
* The sword and the brocade (Cdrama)

Haha, well, you’re watching a lot, so I can see why you might not have completed any of them 🙂 It looks like a good and varied group of dramas you have going too 🙂

I finished “Find me in your memory” earlier this month. Good story but poor casting. Each actor is good and I’ve enjoyed them in other things but them together in this drama didn’t work for me. Found the age/maturity difference too distracting to enjoy the drama. There were a number of other things I didn’t like but as I’m not a huge fan of melo romance it’s not fair of me to criticize 🙂
Re-watched some old faves: Kim Bok Joo, Secret Life of my Secretary, and Coffee Prince.
There are quite a few that will be nearing it’s end in April for me:
River where the Moon Rises – lead actor switch has improved this a LOT
Vincenzo – eps are way too long and it’s an okay watch but I’ll be glad when it’s over
Sisyphus – a mess but still loving it 😉
Hello, Me – cute
Love Alarm – glad I waited for the full 16 eps as it’s very binge worthy.
Didn’t see much on the new dramas for April list but I’m so far behind on my watchlist that I’m sure I’ll find something to watch when I’m finished with my currently airing list – LOL!

You always have so many dramas going! hehe 🙂 You’re currently watching list is very appealing to me. I’ll be going for Sisyphus and River next with Love Alarm and Vincenzo probably not too far behind. Lots of good stuff to look forward to 🙂

It’s a shame to say I didn’t finish any drama last March. To be exact I didn’t any. Because? I was too busy with the real life.
However I have to cope up this April. Hopefully. 😊

Aww, well, we all know that real life gets in the way of our dramas sometimes. Been happening to me the past year! lol Hopefully, you get the opportunity to watch more in April though 🙂
