Yoo In Na (The Spies Who Loved Me) is the latest to take a role in the new Korean drama Snowdrop. Snowdrop is set in the 1980’s and is about a student at a women’s university who encounters an injured male student in her dorm who is covered in blood and decides to tend to him and help him hide.
Yoo In Na will play a charming and talented surgeon with a secret. She joins the already confirmed Jung Hae In (A Piece of Your Mind) as the mysterious injured student, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo (Arthdal Chronicles) as the student who helps him, and Kim Hye Yoon (Extraordinary You) a phone operator at the dorm. The drama comes the writer and PD of the hit drama SKY Castle.
Snowdrop is hoping to air sometime in 2021 on JTBC.
I am quite hesitant at first because of the 80’s setting despite the already amazing cast. If Yoo In Na will join then it’s the go signal. 😊
The plot sounds mysterious too.

I think the plot sounds mysterious and interesting too. And I do like dramas set during different points in history, so this does appeal to me. The cast is great too. Hopefully, we get a good one 🙂

I like the 80’s setting to since we don’t see it a lot. I’m curious if we will be getting some extreme melo like SKY Castle with this one. I definitely want to check it out 🙂

Yes, the premise is also interesting. But more importantly: Kim Jisoo. HAHAHA. I just hope she can act. Based on their music videos, let’s just say her acting is not yet at 100%. HAHAHA. Although you have a different opinion, it took around 4 kdramas for me to be fully happy with Bae Suzy’s acting. Hehe.

Haha, yeah, you never know for sure until you actually get to see someone in a bigger role. This drama has a solid writer, PD, and other main cast, so hopefully, they thought she truly was a good fit for the role. I’ll be rooting for her!
And yes, I did take Suzy very quickly, hehe. I’ve always thought she was good, but she definitely has improved over the years. Maybe I just got lucky and first saw her in Gu Family Book where I thought she was fantastic. Plus, her and Lee Seung Gi as a couple ❤❤❤
