Well, 2021 has finally arrived, and that’s when I like to give an update on what’s happened on Kdrama Kisses in the past year as well as what’s going on in the upcoming one. I think many of us are hoping it’s a better year than 2020, which really wouldn’t take much.
2020 was a hard year for me, and this blog and kdramas, which I already loved dearly, became more important than ever. I’m so grateful to have had so many wonderful kdramas to enjoy that gave a much needed break from the world.
I was also thankful for all of you. We’ve all learned just how important it is to connect with others during this past year, and this blog was a place where that connection was possible. Chatting with all of you gave me a lot of comfort and joy as we shared our excitement about dramas as well as the disappointments. Thank you all for being here!
There weren’t any major additions to Kdrama Kisses, but lots of new content was added with guides, updates, news, and reviews. The site now has over 270 reviews. Hopefully, you can use them to help decide on if a drama sounds like a good fit for you or to relive dramas that you loved right along with me. You can check out the full list of reviews here or on the Reviews page in the menu. If you’re looking for recommendations of some of my favorite dramas, be sure to check out the Recommendations page which lists dramas that I have rated 8-10.
I always find this part awkward, but do I want to mention that I still have a Patreon page available for anyone who would like to support Kdrama Kisses. Last year was also challenging financially, and it’s a lot of work to maintain this site, but it is my passion, and I want to keep doing it for many years to come. Any support is helpful and appreciated. You can do so for just $1 a month and cancel at any time.
As a small thank you to those who support, there is a bit of additional content available over there and a couple of freebies like a free copy of my yearly drama reviews book and having your name listed on the Supporters page. If you’re interested, you can click the “Support Kdrama Kisses” button above.
Thank you so much to the amazing people who already support the blog. You’re generosity is greatly appreciated and means so much!
The 2020 addition to my review ebook series is now available. “2020 Korean Drama Reviews” includes 20 reviews from 2020 (text, no images) all in one place for convenient reading. It’s available on Amazon for $2.99 by clicking the book title or the cover image above.
Please note that the book is offered as a freebie over on Patreon for becoming a supporter. If you already support the site on Patreon, the 2020 book will also be free for you as an extra thank you and is available upon request.
The books “2019 Korean Drama Reviews“, “2018 Korean Drama Reviews“, and “2017 Korean Drama Reviews” are available at the discounted price of $0.99. Any book purchases go towards maintaining Kdrama Kisses, so they are very appreciated!
With 2021 now underway, we get to see the start of what Dramaland has to offer this year. I know I’m excited, and I hope you are too! Thank you for showing up, reading, commenting, sharing, and for supporting Kdrama Kisses! You’re all wonderful!
Love, Kay
