“Arthdal Chronicles” Has Another Good Week in Ratings

Arthdal Chronicles Korean Drama - Kim Ji Won

It was another good week in Nielsen drama ratings for Arthdal Chronicles starring Song Joong Ki, Kim Ji Won, Jang Dong Gun, and Kim Ok Bin. It did see minor decreases though as it landed at 5.8% for episode 5 on Saturday. It then rose to 7.2% for episode 6 on Sunday which is really great.

Arthdal Chronicles is an epic historical set in ancient times with a story that blends myth and history as a power struggle ensues during the founding of the nation of Gojoseon.

Arthdal Chronicles airs Saturday and Sunday on tvN.

The premise is quite interesting but the execution is SO clunky it’s distracting. Also… did they forget to pay the electricity bill? It’s so dark at times that you almost have to guess what’s going on in some of the scenes. 😄

  Yeah, I dislike when shows go too dark while trying to create a certain feel or atmosphere. I’m really excited to check this one out though 🙂
