Ha Ji Won (Hospital Ship) will be starring in the upcoming Korean drama Chocolate where she is all set to play a chef. She joins Yoon Kye Sang (The Good Wife) who will play a neurosurgeon.
Chocolate is a melodrama that follows the romance between a top chef (Ha Ji Won) and a neurosurgeon (Yoon Kye Sang) as they provide food at a hospice and heal from their pasts.
Chocolate comes from the writer of Uncontrollably Fond and is planning to air later in 2019 on JTBC.
this sounds like something I would like! Like it’d be comforting. 🙂

Aside from everyone dying in the hospice…maybe? lol 😉 I do get it though. It sounds like it will be one of those series that tries to bring forth hope and inspiration in the midst of sad circumstances 🙂

That sounds very sad. But most shows I end up liking are similar, where that sadness is used to bring out hope, as you’ve said. 🙂🙂 I’ll need to make sure to have a box of tissues handy though lol.

I accidentally watched a show a couple of years ago called Andante that ended up being set in a hospice. Had no idea going in as I just thought it was a coming of age story. I was not ready! lol It was like that though and was very hopeful in the midst of the sad stories. Turned out to be a really good show. Definitely wouldn’t have chosen it on purpose though, hehe. I actually really like the writer who is doing Chocolate, and I would most certainly say to make sure you have the tissues ready for this one!
