Lee Min Ki in Talks for OCN’s “Everyone’s Lies”

Everyone's Lies Korean Drama - Lee Min Ki

Lee Min Ki (Beauty Inside) is in talks for the new Korean drama Everyone’s Lies. Everyone’s Lies is about a woman whose father dies and then her husband suddenly disappears which results in her joining the National Assembly in order to find him with the help of a detective.

If he accepts, it looks like Lee Min Ki would be playing the detective. Everyone’s Lies comes from the PD of Argon and is looking to air later in 2019 on OCN.

I first saw Lee Min Ki in Dal Ja’s spring many years ago and remember liking him. After I saw two of his last dramas I changed my mind. I felt like he was exactly the same ‘robot’ in both and so I’m not excited for his dramas anymore so we will see about this one. 😀

I still need to see Dal Ja’s Spring. I know how you how feel. I first saw him in Shut Up Flower Boy Band, and he was amazing! So completely weird but charming at the same time. And the couple other things I saw him he was also much more vibrant.

I was not a fan of his “robot” character in Because It’s My First Life. Then I heard he was similar in Beauty Inside. I like him so much better when he can showcase his more emotional and charismatic side 🙂

If you didn’t like him in because it’s my first life you won’t like him in beauty inside either. I felt he played the same character different drama.

Yep, that was one of the reasons I moved it down on my watch list. I really don’t care for robotic leads most of the time. Of course, if they have some major emotional breakthroughs, I can tolerate it, but it just wasn’t enough for me in Because It’s My First Life to really take a liking to the character 😛
