After having to skip a week of episodes over the holidays, Encounter (also known as Boyfriend) starring Park Bo Gum and Song Hye Kyo is back in action this week. It did see a dip in Nielsen drama ratings, but its numbers are still really good. It brought in 7.8% for episode 9 followed by 8.0% for episode 10. So now we’ll see if it can pick things back up in the coming weeks.
Encounter is an opposites story that follows the complicated romance between a free-spirited ordinary man (Park Bo Gum) who seems to have nothing and the daughter (Song Hye Kyo) of a politician who seems to have everything.
