Jung Il Woo Considering Starring in New Historical Korean Drama “Haechi”

Haechi Korean Drama - Jung Il Woo

Sometimes it seems like it takes forever for stars to return from their military service and other times you blink and it’s already completed. And Jung Il Woo’s (Cinderella and the Four Knights) return has snuck up on me. He is set to complete his service in December and is currently considering his comeback project in the form of the new SBS historical drama Haechi.

Haechi is the story of a prince born of the king and a commoner who bands together with a ragtag group to try and secure his position on the throne. The drama comes from the writer of Hwajung and Dong Yi.

Well, of course being a historical, sign me up! And I would really love to see Jung Il Woo take this as his first post military project. He’s an actor that was really starting to grow on me just before he left, so I’m anxious to see more works from him.

Haechi is looking to air in 2019 on SBS.

Waaahhh! I just like this guy in Cinderella and Four Knights (7.5/10) and High End Crush (8.5/10). Well, since this one is historical, I am not as excited as you. But still I’ll be checking this one out all because of Jung Il Woo.

Yep, just before he went into the military, I watched and loved Cinderella, and I really liked him in High End Crush too. So I’m also pretty excited to see him in a new drama 🙂
