Im Joo Hwan Accepts Role in Korean Drama “Different Dreams”

Lee Mong Korean Drama - Im Joo Hwan

Im Joo Hwan (Bride of the Water God) has joined the cast of the upcoming MBC period drama Different Dreams (also called Lee Mong). He joins Lee Yo Won (Buamdong Revenge Social Club) and Yoo Ji Tae (Mad Dog) who will headline the drama.

Im Joo Hwan will play a Japanese prosecutor. Here’s another actor I love that I’m still wanting to see get more lead roles. But I am always thrilled to see him in a new project as he always brings so much to his characters, and this is still considered a main role. He’s a welcome addition to a drama that already has a solid cast and a very intriguing period story.

Different Dreams is a spy melodrama set during the Japanese occupation and tells the story of a surgeon (Lee Yo Won) who becomes a spy for the Korean government during the Pacific War.

Different Dreams is looking to air in 2019 on MBC.

This is another one that I am really looking forward to. The premise is quite unique, and I can’t wait to see a first trailer for this drama 😊

Well, you know I’m always up for a drama set around the 30’s. One of my all time fav dramas Bridal Mask was set then. Although I always end up comparing 30’s dramas to that, and it set the bar so high that no other drama can live up, lol. I still love the time period though, so I will be looking forward to this one 🙂
