Mr. Sunshine starring Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Ri has been steadily climbing each week in Nielsen drama ratings, and this week was no different. It landed at 11.7% for episode 9 on Saturday and then jumped to 13.5% for episode 10 on Sunday, which is yet another series high for the popular drama.
Mr. Sunshine is set during the early 1900’s and is about the romance of a soldier (Lee Byung Hun) of the righteous army and an aristocrat’s daughter (Kim Tae Ri). It follows the story of the soldier who got on a U.S. military expedition as a child and grew up in America. As an adult, he then returns to Korea as a soldier during the final years of the Joseon era. It comes from writer Kim Eun Sook of hits such as Goblin and Descendants of the Sun.
Mr. Sunshine airs Saturday and Sunday on tvN.

Well, I’m going to wait until September to continue with Mr. Sunshine. As the current month is very busy I notice that I have just too little time to really focus on watching full series. But I guess the positive thing about this is that I will have the opportunity to bingwatch it later on 😊😊

Well, you know I’m a big fan of binge watching since I mostly watch one drama at a time, two tops. And if you watch in September, that’s also when I will be watching! 🙂
