Lee Seung Gi Offered Starring Role in Korean Thriller Drama “Vagabond”

Vagabond Korean Drama - Lee Seung Gi

Yes please! Lee Seung Gi (Hwayugi) has been offered the starring role in the new SBS thriller drama Vagabond. He would join the already confirmed Shin Sung Rok (Return) who will play a NIS director.

Vagabond tells the story of an ordinary man who ends up in the midst of political intrigue as he tries to exposes national corruption during a plane crash investigation. It comes from the PD of Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim and the writer of Monster and Empress Ki.

Lee Seung Gi is up to play the title role of our regular man who gets in deep with a plane crash investigation. Well, I’m always up for Lee Seung Gi! And I would love to see him in  a role like this. It’s a bit different from what he’s done, yet I think it fits him really well. I can already picture him in the role, and I’m certainly hoping he accepts!

Vagabond is looking to air in the second half of 2018.
