Dong Ha (Suspicious Partner) has now been offered a leading role in the new MBC drama I’m Not a Robot. He would play a man who really loves robots. An offer was previously out out to Minah (Beautiful Gong Shim) to play cheerful and athletic woman that isn’t very smart who wants to open a mechanic shop of her own, but she has turned it down.

Now Chae Soo Bin (Strongest Deliveryman) is in the mix with an offer out to her to star. I’m disappointed that Minah will not be in the drama, but Chae Soo Bin would certainly be a good possibility. Of course, she is right in the middle of her current drama Strongest Deliveryman, so she would have to jump right into this one if she were to accept.

I’m also thrilled to see Dong Ha’s name is in the mix. After a couple of successful outings in supporting roles this year, it’s good to see him already looking over a lead role. I definitely think this would be a fun pair.

I’m Not a Robot is about a man that falls in love with a robot. The drama comes from the co-writer of Shine or Go Crazy and the PD of W-Two Worlds.

I’m Not a Robot is looking to air in October on MBC.
