It’s a chance to travel back in time with the first trailer for the upcoming KBS drama Lingerie Girls’ Generation starring Lee Jong Hyun (My Only Love Song) and Bona (The Best Hit). With some retro music playing in the background, we see two friends, Bona and Chae Seo Jin, having some fun girl time sitting on a park bench. Then a boy, Yeo Hwae Hyun, shows up who seems to have feelings for Bona which is a bit unsettling for Chae Seo Jin.
It’s a cute trailer that really delivers some 70’s nostalgia. It’s also very lovely to look at which makes me excited to see that carry over into the drama. At a short eight episodes, Lingerie Girls Generation looks like it should be a fun teen drama with friendships, romance, and plenty of nostalgia.
Lingerie Girls’ Generation is based on a novel of the same name about teenagers growing up in the 1970’s after a girl from Seoul transfers to a rural town. The drama comes from the writer of Medical Top Team and God of Study and the PD of Perfect Wife.
Lingerie Girls’ Generation is scheduled to premiere September 11 on KBS.

Yes, it was pretty neat. I’m looking forward to the 70’s time period for sure 🙂 There are so few dramas set during that time.
