Longing Heart Korean Drama - Lee Jung Shin

Lee Jung Shin (My Sassy Girl) has been offered the lead role in the new SBS drama Longing Heart. Longing Heart is a fantasy romantic comedy about a man who travels back in time to win the heart of his first love with the knowledge that she actually liked him back then. But much to his surprise, he ends up having to compete against his past self for her affections.

Well, that sounds like a lot of fun! There are plenty of time travel dramas these days (and no complaints here!), but it’s a bit unique to actually have the main guy’s competition be himself. I actually hope that if Lee Jung Shin accepts the role, he will be playing both characters since I think that would just add a lot more humor to the scenario. But either way, it sounds fun!

Longing Heart is looking to air on SBS Plus in November.

Haha, that really is a truly original idea. Kind of puts a completely new twist on the Back to the Future storyline. Also no complaints from me for the amount of timetravelling series we are getting. I say: keep them coming 😊

This sounds really interesting! Idk why my sassy girl sounds familiar to me. Did Lee dong wook star in that drama?

It does sound fun 🙂 No, Lee Dong Wook wasn’t in My Sassy Girl. That one starred Joo Won and just ended a couple months ago.
