Hyeri Offered Starring Role in Korean Drama ‘Two Cops’

Two Cops Korean Drama - Hyeri

It looks like Hyeri (Entertainer) has now been offered a starring role in the new MBC drama Two Cops. Two Cops is a supernatural romance about a moral and upright  detective who ends up having his body inhabited by the ghost of a con artist. Jo Jung Suk (Jealousy Incarnate) was just recently confirmed to be playing the detective.

Hyeri would play a reporter who is the love interest of the detective. I know a lot of people have issues with Hyeri, but I’ve always enjoyed her, so I have no problem with her signing on for this role.

An offer is also out to Choi Woo Shik (Fight for My Way) in an un-described role. I do wish we could see Choi Woo Shik in another main role, but I would be more than happy to see him in this if its one of the lead roles. Here’s hoping!

Two Cops is looking to air in November on MBC.

    My first thought was: Noooooo!
I did enjoy her in Reply 1988 but that was more because of the director and the script. She was okayish in one or 2 eps of Entertainer that I watched.
Jo jung suk is always so good that I really want an equally good costar with him.

Haha, I thought that might be your reaction. I liked her in Reply and Entertainer, so it seems to me she does fine with characters that are lighter and match her personality. Can’t say how she would do with something more dramatic, but this looks to be on the lighter side. As always, will hope for the best 🙂
