Bad Guys 2: City of Evil - Ji Soo

We have a casting change up for the the second season of the crime drama Bad Guys titled Bad Guys: Age of Evil. Uhm Tae Goo (Maids) has had to step down from his role due to a injury. And taking his place will be none other than Ji Soo (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon)!

Ji Soo plays a man who goes to prison in place of someone else to save his family. But after he learns it was a set up, his personality completely changes. Aww!!

Well, I’ve been impatiently waiting for the day that he will be the main lead in a romantic comedy. While this isn’t it, I must say that it is probably the next best thing! I’m excited to see him be part of a crime thriller with an ensemble cast and to take on a weighty character like this. Yay for Ji Soo!

He joins Park Joong Hoon (Hanji) as a prosecutor with a temper who tends to cause trouble and Joo Jin Mo (Woman With a Suitcase).

Kang Ha Neul (Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Goryeo) was also previously confirmed, but he also recently had to step down due his upcoming military enlistment. He was to play a prosecutor who witnessed his mentor being brutally murdered. I’m disappointed, but I’m very interested to see who they get to replace him.

Bad Buys: Age of Evil follows a group of prosecutors and criminals who team up to catch other criminals. The original writer, Hang Jung Hoon, will be penning the script with the PD of Police Unit 38.

Bad Guys: Age of Evil is looking to air in late 2017 on OCN.

I don’t think I have come across this actor yet (but then again I could be mistaking). I will take your word for it though that he is a worthy replacement. I have just one more episode to go of Bad Guys season 1. Hopefully I will get around to post a review for it in the weekend 😀

Well, he’s a newer actor who just sort of came out of no where in 2015 and won over everybody. He’s one of dramaland’s resident “puppy” sort of actors because of how incredibly endearing he is and that he frequently breaks our hearts in second lead roles, lol. He’s still a little green, but I have no doubt he will do well with this character and completely draw us in.

If Scarlet Heart ever becomes available to you, he’s one of the brothers in that. But yay! Down to your last episode of Bad Guys! It was certainly a good one and if they carry that same flavor into the second season, I will be happy 🙂
