Man Who Dies to Live Korean Drama - Choi Min Soo and Shin Sung Rok

Well, this looks like it’s going to be a good time! A 3 minute long preview trailer is out for the upcoming MBC drama Man Who Dies to Live starring Choi Min Soo (The Liar and His Lover), Shin Sung Rok (On the Way to the Airport), and Kang Ye Won (Baek Hee Has Returned).

There is so much comedy gold in this setup! We have the wealthy Choi Min Soo returning from Arabia to find his daughter, but he’s unsure which of two women she is. Then his potential son-in-law Shin Sung Rok is more than ready to buddy up with Choi Min Soo to get in on some of those riches. It all seriously looks hilarious, and I can’t wait to see all of the crazy scenarios these characters find themselves in!

Man Who Dies to Live is about a man who returns home after becoming a nobleman in Arabia and tries to repair his relationship with his daughter and son-in-law. Choi Min Soo will play the father who finds success in Arabia. Kang Ye Won will play his daughter with Shin Sung Rok as his son-in-law.

Man Who Dies to Live is scheduled to premiere July 19 on MBC.

Well, this looks like it will be a straight up comedy, so in all likelyhood I will probably pass on this one (despite the rather unique Arabian setting). But, who knows, might just give the pilot a go at one point 😊

Yeah, I didn’t think this one would appeal to you much. But I think it looks like a lot of fun, so I’m hoping it maintains the tone of the trailer 🙂
