First Teaser Trailer Released for Korean Drama ‘Live Up to Your Name’

Live Up to Your Name Korean Drama - Kim Nam Gil and Kim Ah Joong

The first teaser trailer is out for the new tvN drama Live Up to Your Name starring Kim Nam Gil (Shark) and Kim Ah Joong (Wanted). It’s a short but cute trailer that shows Kim Ah Joong with a smirk as she stares at a portrait of Kim Nam Gil next to a skeleton. He narrates as he expresses disbelief that a knife would be used on the human body while she says it just matters that they are saving lives. These two will definitely be at odds!

Live Up to Your Name is a fantasy medical drama about a Joseon doctor (Kim Name Gil) skilled in acupuncture that time travels to the present and finds himself at odds with a doctor (Kim Ah Joong) who only believes in western medicine.

Live Up to Your Name is scheduled to premiere August 12 on tvN.

Hmm, don’t quite know what to think of this one yet. It looks like this will definitely be heading towards full on comedy mode, but who knows, maybe it will be fun. Just have to wait a bit for a few other trailers and more news on this one 😊

Yeah, we definitely don’t have much to go on with a teaser like that. I do always like time travel dramas though. The humorous adjustment period just never gets old. But I’ll be wanting to check out a few more trailers too.
