Joo Jin Mo, Kang Ha Neul, and More to Star in Korean Drama ‘Bad Guys: Age of Evil’

It looks like we have casting confirmations for the the second season of the crime drama Bad Guys titled Bad Guys: Age of Evil. We have Park Joong Hoon (Hanji) as a prosecutor with a temper who tends to cause trouble, Kang Ha Neul (Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Goryeo) as a prosecutor who witnessed his mentor being brutally murdered, and Joo Jin Mo (Woman With a Suitcase) and Uhm Tae Goo (Maids) in unspecified roles.

I am disappointed to not see Park Sung Woong among the lineup, but we still have an excellent cast in place. Hopefully, we will be in for another intense ride like the first one.

Bad Buys: Age of Evil follows a group of detectives and criminals who team up to catch other criminals. The original writer, Hang Jung Hoon, will be penning the script with the PD of Police Unit 38.

Bad Guys: Age of Evil is looking to air in late 2017 on OCN.

UPDATE 7/18/17: Kang Ha Neul and Uhm Tae Goo have had to step down from their roles and will no longer be in the drama.

Ofcourse I am really looking forward to this seeing as how much I love Bad Guys in the first place, but am disappointed not to see the original cast returning. Still, if it is as good as the first season, this might be another fun ride 😀

  Yes, I’m disappointed with that too, but at least I was prepared since I knew the likelihood of getting the original cast back was slim. But this cast is good too, and if it can deliver another intense and gritty crime thriller, I will be more than satisfied 🙂
