Criminal Minds Korean Drama - Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won

Alright! The first trailer is out for the Korean remake of the American TV show Criminal Minds starring Lee Joon Gi (Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Goryeo) and Moon Chae Won (Goodbye Mr. Black). Criminal Minds is a crime drama about a team of FBI profilers.

It definitely has the feel of a gritty crime thriller. We get a look at our entire team of profilers. There are also some brutal crime scenes, and we see our team in action as they try to solve the cases. It’s a solid first trailer for sure. And I’m more than thrilled to see Lee Joon Gi looking sleek in modern attire. It should be fun watching him take on the bad guys!

Criminal Minds is scheduled to premiere July 26 on tvN.

Id be curious to give it a shot. I use to follow the original american version but it started going for so long that I eventually dropped it. Specially when some of my fave actors in it left the show. I wonder how similar this is gonna try to be.

That’s the big negative with American shows, the successful ones just keep going and going and going! You definitely won’t have to worry about that with the kversion. I’ve only seen a couple eps of the original, so I won’t be able to compare them much. I’m just hoping for a good solid crime thriller with a good story and that it showcases Lee Joon Gi’s acting and action abilities 🙂

I really am keeping my fingers crossed that I am able to see this one. As mentioned earlier, I really enjoy the original series, although I agree that the series might have gone on for a bit too long now. The trailer looks very cool though 😀😀

I hope you do too, especially since it’s a genre you like. A lot of successful series go on way to long and run out of steam. I’m looking forward to a nice one season version and am also interested to see how the Korean version does 🙂

This does look rather good but I’ll save my judgement till it airs and I get to sample a couple of episodes. I liked the origial well enough (what I saw of it) but can’t say I was any sort of a fan.

Yup, American shows thend to go on and on, often up to a point when there is no meat on the bones anymore and even past that.

Yeah, the American shows usually don’t have anything left by the time you get to the end. I really think even most successful shows should stop after a few seasons. It’s just hard to keep things interesting.

I’m just hoping for a good crime thriller with good characters with this one. I haven’t seen enough of the original to compare it too, which is probably a good thing. I’m excited to see it though 🙂
