Kdrama Kisses

Choi Jin Hyuk (Tunnel) has been offered a starring role in the new MBC drama Hospital Ship. Hospital Ship is about doctors on a medical ship that travels to rural villages on islands. He would play a warmhearted doctor on our medical ship.

An offer is also still out to Ha Ji Won (The Time I’ve Loved You) as a surgeon who joins the ship after experiencing difficult family circumstances. The drama comes from the writer of Secret Door and the PD of New Leaf.

As I’ve mentioned, I’m not thrilled about another medical drama, but the unique setting in this one has piqued my interest. And if these two sign on, I pretty much have to give it a go. I definitely think they would make a fantastic pairing.

Hospital Ship is looking to air in August on MBC.
