It looks like tvN is changing things up a bit with its drama schedules! It will be shifting its Friday-Saturday time slot to Saturday-Sunday instead. This change will take effect on June 10 with the premiere of Secret Forest.

tvN is also planning to add a new drama time slot to its lineup. In addition to the Monday-Tuesday slot and the Saturday-Sunday slot, it will introduce a new Wednesday-Thursday slot. This will begin in July.

I guess I like this news, but I’m also a little worried. The good part is that it means more dramas! The bad part is that it means more dramas! But I tend to like a lot of the stuff coming from tvN these days, so I’m excited to have another drama offering from them on a regular basis.

So what you think of the schedule changes?

Well I only watch the dramas on Viki these days, so I don’t think it will effect me much. But more dramas, I already have way too little time lol 😂😂😂

Ah, but these dramas will eventually make their way to Viki, hehe. So yes, it still means more dramas 😉

I like that there is more dramas. I’m just wondering if they are going to follow other channel leads with this 30 min episode drama formats.

Well, the big networks seem to be doing it because of adding a commercial break right in the middle of the hour long episode. Whereas the cable networks have already been showing commercials at several points throughout the episode and have maintained hour episodes. But who knows. Maybe the 30 minute format will take off and everyone will jump on board or the big networks will eventually go back to hour long after a trial run 😛

So far, it’s working for me. Especially since their commercials can last for so long! I found this out the hard way when I was watching a channel in a spa.

I remember hearing that the commercials were like 10 or 15 minutes in between shows. That would be a lot of commercials! lol
