Im Ji Yeon Offered Lead Role in Korean Drama ‘Mojito’

Mojito Korean Drama - Im Ji Yeon

Im Ji Yeon (Blow Breeze) has been offered a lead role in the new romantic comedy Mojito. Mojito tells the story of a man that is an heir but has no money who opens a daytime bar because he doesn’t like the nighttime. He meets a woman who also struggles with money and the two fall in love.

Im Ji Yeon would playing our struggling heroine. An offer is still out to Sung Joon (Perfect Wife) as the daytime bartender. I’m definitely hoping Sung Joon accepts this role, but I’m undecided on Im Ji Yeon. I’ve only seen her in Daebak. I absolutely loved that drama, but I found her to be the weakest link in an otherwise stellar cast. But maybe it was more her character. A fun romantic comedy like this could show her in a different light for me. So I’m definitely open to the pairing.

Mojito is looking to air later this year.
