Circle Korean Drama - Kim Kang Woo

A second trailer is out for the new tvN sci-fi drama Circle starring Yeo Jin Goo (Daebak) and Kim Kang Woo (Goodbye Mr. Black). This one shows Kim Kang Woo standing in many different locations including a forest, field, cave, and city. They are beautifully shot.

As he turns around, images of a person wearing a gas mask and documents that appear to be damaged flash by. He then says that he will remember. Definitely an eerie otherworldly feeling to the trailer!

Circle focuses on two timelines, one in 2017 and one in 2037. The story begins in 2017 where people keep strict control of their emotions. Then aliens arrive on Earth, and the humans try to take advantage of them. In 2037, the earth is divided into a Utopian territory and an ordinary one full of suffering. Yeo Jin Goo will play a college student in 2017 with Kim Kang Woo as a violent crimes detective in 2037.

Circle is scheduled to premiere May 22 on tvN.

I must have overlooked this, but I did not realise that Kim Kang Woo was in this series. I was already planning on watching this one, but now I want to watch this even more. He is defintely one of my favorite actors. He was absolutely briljant in The Story of a man. The trailer looks great and very dark. Really looking forward to this one now 😊

He’s definitely in it 🙂 This is on my must watch list as I really love the unique premise, Kim Kang Woo is great, and Yeo Jin Goo is one of my favorite actors. Plus being on tvN and from the small bits we’ve seen from the trailer, it will most likely be shot very good with slick production. So lots to be hopeful about 🙂
