Taecyeon to Star in Korean Drama ‘Save Me’ With Seo Ye Ji

Alright! Taecyeon (Let’s Fight Ghost) has been confirmed to be starring in the new OCN drama Save Me (also known as Rescue Me) alongside Seo Ye Ji (Hwarang). Taecyeon will play a kind and handsome man who is one of several young men who comes to the rescue of our heroine, Seo Ye Ji.

Save Me is a psychological thriller based on the webtoon Out of the World about several young men who hear a woman in an alley ask for someone to save her. They rescue her and then find themselves caught up in the mystery of her involvement in a pseudo-religious cult that she is trying to escape from.

This is such a unique plot for a kdrama, and I am so excited to see it come together. I’m thrilled with the cast and think we will have a very interesting drama on our hands.

Save Me is looking to air in July on OCN.

I thought Taecyeon was fantastic in Let’s fight Ghost. he was a fun and funny character. so with this being a psychological thriller, I guess he would play somebody more serious right? that could be interesting.

  He was wonderful in Let’s Fight Ghost! I think that drama suited him perfectly. I’m curious as to what we will get with this one too. His character is described as being bright and kind, so that sounds like a good fit. But it does look like things will get pretty serious, especially with this being an OCN drama. Hopefully, the character works well for him 🙂
