New Korean Dramas Coming to DramaFever in April!

More dramas are now available on DramaFever in April! We have a couple new premieres for the month as well as several that were added towards the end of March. There’s romance, crime fighting, a weekend drama, a Chinese drama, and even a Taiwanese drama! Here are the new additions to their library:

My Secret Romance (available Apr. 17)

*Stars: Sung Hoon and Song Ji Eun
A partying chaebol has a one-night stand with a beautiful girl. When she joins his company years later, it is difficult to hide their secret romance.

A housewife with insanely strong deduction skills accidentally solves a crime. Now she’s partnered up with an old-school detective. Watson and Holmes got nothing on the Queen of Mystery.

Lovely Love Lie (The Liar and His Lover)

*Stars: Lee Hyun Woo and Red Velvet’s Joy
A famous composer with a hidden identity falls for a girl with a great voice in this adaptation of the popular manga of the same name.

Tunnel

*Stars: Choi Jin Hyuk and Yoon Hyun Min
A cop enters a tunnel chasing a killer and time-travels thirty years into the future. He’s in for quite a culture shock, if the killer doesn’t get him first.

*Stars: Uhm Jung Hwa and Jang Hee Jin
One is a star singer with a huge regret. The other is an imitator with the burden of her family. Some connections are deeper than we think.

There’s definitely some good ones to choose from! They all look interesting to me. It’s especially good to see a Taiwanese drama on the list this time.

‘Tunnel’ has been pretty good so far, though I feel that serial killers are SO passe – pls move on, dramaland. ;D
I checked out ‘Prince of Wolf’ while it was airing in Taiwan. It was terribly cheesy and not in a good way either, lots of unintentional hilarity.^^ The leads are pretty but their acting… umm… let’s say, left a lot to be desired for. I didn’t get very far with this one.
This week DramaFever also started to air one of my faves from last year, Medical Examiner Dr. Qin. Now, that’s a rather well made crime show with great acting. 🙂

  Serial killers definitely seem to be all the rage right now, lol. Planning to check out Tunnel myself 🙂
  I’m partway through Prince of Wolf, but watching it very casually. Yep, it is SUPER cheesy. Probably the cheesiest drama I’ve watched. But I kind of like it and just check in with it when I’m in the mood 🙂
  Have now added Medical Examiner Dr. Qin to the list above. Hope you keep enjoying it 🙂

    Well, Wolfie boy was way too silly for me. *g*
    Unfortunately DF does not work where I live, so no subs for me. Unless… they come available though *cough* other means *cough*. 😀 I wish Viki had picked Dr Qin up as their cdramas are generally licenced to other parts than USA as well.
    Oh, I enjoyed our crankypants doctor and his 2 cohorts a lot while the drama was airing. The three-way bickering was fun even without understanding a word, LOL! Their expressions and body language was often pretty telling. Thanks to some blogging pals with Chinese skills I got some of it sorted out though.^^

      The main thing is that you have a way to watch dramas! That’s what counts 🙂 There’s a couple cdramas coming up that I really hope Viki picks up. At least both they and DramaFever are starting to get more of them 🙂

Well, really no doubt in my mind here for one second. Really looking forward to Tunnel the most. I like the premise for it, and timetravel stories always are a plus for me 😊
