Mystery Queen Korean Drama - Kwon Sang Woo and Choi Kang Hee

We have a 4 minute preview trailer that has been rleased for the upcoming KBS drama Mystery Queen starring Kwon Sang Woo (Temptation) and Choi Kang Hee (Glamorous Temptation).

It opens with a bit of lighthearted dancing and then moves into the actual trailer. We get a nice introduction to all of our main characters as well as seeing the difficult dynamic between them. Our main detective duo definitely doesn’t get along!

Mystery Queen is about a married woman (Choi Kang Hee) who loves mystery novels and dreams of becoming a cop that ends up working with a detective (Kwon Sang Woo) to solve cases.

Mystery Queen is scheduled to premiere April 5 on KBS.

I’m definitely watching this. Been a big fan of Kwon Sang Woo since Cinderella Man.

I’m still undecided on this one. I’ve never seen Kwon Sang Woo and have only see Choi Kang Hee once. It looks like it could be fun though, so I’ll be keeping an eye to see if it piques my interest.

Don’t know about this one. It looks like it has a strong comedy aspect to it, but on the other hand I also see a lot of (brutal) action scenes in between the comedy as well. I don’t know yet, might check it out, but it has not got a high priority for me at the moment 😊

I’m not sure exactly what tone they are going for since like you said, it seems to have a strong comedy aspect mixed with some brutal crime scenes. It’s low on my list at this point too, so I’ll just see how the fan reaction to it is for the time being.
