Defendant stayed where it has been for all of its run and went out on top in Nielsen drama ratings. It yet again hit new series highs each night bringing in 27% for episode 17 on Monday and 28.3% for episode 18 on Tuesday for its finale.

Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People saw a decrease this week bringing in 9.7% for episode 15 on Monday and 8.8% for episode 16 on Tuesday.

Perfect Wife saw a dip to 3.5% for episode 7 on Monday. It then increased to 4.4% for episode 8 on Tuesday.

Defendant sure had one fantastic run! It premiered to high ratings and then just kept climbing each week. Congratulations to the cast and crew for such a successful drama!

Next week brings us the premiere of thriller melodrama Whisper starring Lee Sang Yoon and Lee Bo Young. With the ratings giant now complete, it will be interesting to see where each drama lands.
